On 31 July 2025, a request for any record reflecting the identities of the judges who considered Brink's appeal in the Waglay JP case; PoD.

Illegally refused, so on 8 September a complaint to the Information Regulator ('IR'); PoD. 

Acknowledged next day.

Under investigation per letter from the IR on the 29th. 

Addendum to complaint 10 October; withdrawn.

Reminder to IR on 24 November.

The IR failed to deal with the complaint, but events overtook it: On 19 December the appeal was upheld, and the judges, whose identities had been sought, were named in the ruling.
